NOTE: Mark your calendars - TRTech and the Canadian Digital Media Network, partners in presenting the Canada 3.0 2014 conference, have rescheduled the event in Calgary for October 28-30, 2014. News Release
TRTech and CDMN will bring Canada 3.0 to Western Canada for the first time at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, October 28-30, 2014. As the epicenter of Canada’s energy sector, Calgary is an ideal location to investigate how digital innovation can enable the energy economy.
Information and communication technology (ICT) is essential at nearly every step of energy procurement and development thanks to the industry’s ever-evolving need to acquire, monitor and analyze vast swaths of information. Digital innovation will also play a key role in driving sustainability across notable segments of the energy sector, including: Cost and efficiency of production, personnel recruitment/skills advancement and, of course, environmental stewardship and safety.
With these needs in mind, Canada 3.0, 2014 will combine ICT innovators with the leading energy decision makers and companies as well as policy makers and international delegates to find new and better paths to create, adapt and export digital technology innovation within the energy industry.
Established in 2009 by the Canadian Digital Media Network (CDMN), Canada 3.0 is Canada’s largest annual digital media and technologies conference. With a particular focus on innovation and commercialization, Canada 3.0 brings together ICT entrepreneurs, thought leaders, academics and public officials to create meaningful dialogue, connections and solutions.
