Special Note for Students and Postdocs: Accommodation arrangements will be made by the GRAND administrative office on behalf of students and postdocs who are presenting a poster (First Phase submissions only), those who have been selected to present a WIP or those who are assisting with the coordination of the conference. These three categories of students and postdocs will have their accommodation covered further to the GRAND 2011 Travel and Accommodation Policy.
Applicable students and postdocs are reminded to review the Timeline in order to meet the required booking deadlines. Housing is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Transportation in Vancouver
Vancouver's new rapid transit rail system, The Canada Line, connects YVR to downtown Vancouver in just 26 minutes. Trains run every seven minutes during peak times and every 15 during off-peak hours. It's a great way to quickly get into the city centre and beyond. Getting to and from YVR (Vancouver's airport).
