P. Thomas Jenkins is Executive Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of Open Text Corporation, the largest independent software company in Canada. Prior to Open Text, Tom held several technical, managerial and executive positions at a variety of information technology based companies in Canada.

Chair of the Canadian Digital Media Network, Tom is also a member of a number of corporate and government boards. He is a director of the C.D. Howe Institute, the Canadian International Council (CIC) and the Canadian Council of Chief Executives. In December 2011, Tom was inducted to the Order of Canada. 

Tom received an M.B.A. from York University, an M.A.Sc. in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto and a B.Eng. & Mgt. in Engineering Physics and Commerce from McMaster University.
